Although the club are in need of a right-sided centre-back with his attributes, they have made it clear to the Frenchman that he is not part of their future plans. Besides, his contract running until 2028 with an annual salary of €5 million has made him less appealing on the transfer market. Inter are now forced to find him a new club.
