[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Benjamin Pavard’s spell at Inter Milan has come to a complete end after he fell out with the team’s dressing room. The rift stemmed from him playing squash while recovering from injury during last year’s Club World Cup. Pavard has returned to Milan, yet Inter no longer want him. Although the club are in need of a right-sided centre-back with his attributes, they have made it clear to the Frenchman that he is not part of their future plans. He also put in underwhelming displays during his loan spell at Marseille, who will not trigger the agreed €15 million permanent transfer clause. Besides, his contract running until 2028 with an annual salary of €5 million has made him less appealing on the transfer market. Inter are now forced to find him a new club.
The editor believes that in the final stage of Pavard’s career at Inter Milan, his declining form combined with the breakdown of his relationship inside the dressing room has completely ended his time at the club.
