Emirates, preparing for the upcoming African Cup of Nations. During their
training, they received a visit from French star Paul Pogba. Although Pogba
represents the French national team, he maintains a close connection with
Guinea, his country of birth. Both of his brothers are international players
for the Guinean national team, and in 2022, Pogba took part in a charity match
in Guinea, where he received a warm welcome from the people, highlighting his
popularity in the country. Unfortunately, Pogba’s career has been marred by a doping
incident, resulting in a four-year ban. This ban has significantly impacted his
career trajectory. As part of the agreement, Pogba will now receive the minimum
wage. Before taxes, the minimum annual salary amounts to 42,477 euros, which
translates to a monthly salary of around 2,000 euros after tax deductions.
