[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, the Premier League has recently asked Manchester City whether they would be willing to collaborate with a comedian who has repeatedly mocked Manchester City and Pep Guardiola. Manchester City were shocked by this proposal and have politely declined. The comedian, named Conor Moore, is an Irish performer known for impersonating stars like Roy Keane. He has also frequently mocked Guardiola and Manchester City in sketches, stand-up comedy, and self-made videos. For example, Moore imitates Guardiola during a press conference, saying, “We know that Manchester City must strengthen their squad, and we have done it, especially on the bench – we’ve signed four lawyers, eight legal advisors, and one judge.” This was a humorous jab at Manchester City’s 115 charges. In another skit, Moore imitated Guardiola being questioned in court: “You’re the one who spent £100 million on Gradel?” which drew laughter. The Premier League officials suggested that Manchester City could invite Moore to collaborate on creating and releasing videos for the new season, which would surely generate traffic and buzz. Manchester City were surprised by this proposal and politely declined. Both the Premier League and Moore have not commented on the matter.
