[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Welsh captain Aaron Ramsey, who is now 34 years old, is launching his own vodka brand, “Tens.” The Cardiff City midfielder has recently partnered with renowned chef Tom Simmons to establish a new business, with “Tens Spirits,” which will be released on Easter Sunday, being a premium vodka brand brewed in Ramsey’s hometown. Despite missing the rest of the season due to hamstring surgery, the former Arsenal and Juventus star posted a bright smile at the new liquor launch event on Instagram earlier this week. His former Welsh teammate Gareth Bale had opened a sports bar called “Elevens” in Cardiff in May 2017 and later collaborated with the Glamorgan Valley Brewery to launch “Bale Ale.” At the launch, Ramsey and Simmons’ new vodka was described as the “perfect choice for important moments.” Simmons’ restaurant “Thomas by Tom Simmons” was just named the AA Wales Restaurant of the Year, and the chef, who participated in “MasterChef: The Professionals” in 2011, is now one of the top chefs in Wales. Throughout his career, Ramsey has represented the Welsh national team 86 times and has made 369 appearances for Arsenal and 70 for Juventus in club football.
