[Saba Sports News] According to German media reports, RB Leipzig is set to auction off its temporary container offices. More than 350 RB Leipzig employees have been working comfortably in the club’s new modern headquarters for over five months. The 14,500-square-metre office building delivers a state-of-the-art working environment, meaning the interim container office complex at the Cottaer Straße entrance has fulfilled its purpose and will now be put up for sale. The containers have stood alongside Cottaer Straße since 2019 and were expanded in 2021, serving continuously as the club’s temporary central workplace. Prior to their deployment in Leipzig, these modular units were already in use at sister club Red Bull Salzburg dating back to 2012. The final sale price will be determined by bids. RB Leipzig is aiming for a fixed six-figure lump sum from interested bidders, with handover possible as early as July 1st. The entire container complex will be sold as a single lot, and all dismantling work will be the responsibility of the buyer.
The editor believes that these containers will enjoy one final moment in the spotlight. Their multi‑function hall will be used by UEFA, the tournament organiser, for the Europa Conference League final to be held in Leipzig on May 27th.
