[Saba Sports News] Recently, Reading Football Club officially announced that it has reached a principle agreement to sell the club to Redwood Holdings Limited. It is understood that this acquisition includes the Select Car Leasing Stadium and the Belmore Park training ground. The formal completion of the transaction is subject to final legal technical details but is expected to be completed soon. According to the agreement between both parties, the English Football Association has agreed to extend Dai Yongge’s (Dai) shareholding reduction deadline to May 8 for the next board meeting. Redwood Holdings Limited is a subsidiary of Dogwood Football LLC, which is owned by Rob Couhig and Todd Troscair from New Orleans, Louisiana. Reading FC has confirmed the sale of the club to former Wycombe Wanderers owner Rob Couhig, with the remaining work being legal issues. This American businessman was close to acquiring Reading last August, and he has arrived in Reading, where he will attend today’s final game of the season, which will see 21,000 fans in attendance. For over two years, fans have been waiting for the end of Dai Yongge’s era, and this day has come. This season, they may enter the Championship promotion playoffs.
