Yesterday, Red Bull’s senior advisor Dr. Helmut Marko confirmed that the team would announce next year’s main lineup before Christmas, and as it stands, Perez’s chances of staying with the team look bleak. Perez had a poor performance this season, and although he renewed his contract with Red Bull during the season, which runs until the end of 2026, the team has reportedly lost patience with him, making his replacement highly likely. The potential successors are Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda, currently competing for the junior Red Bull team. However, Perez has made it clear that he has a contract for next season and does not intend to give it up, leading to various speculations. Some believe Red Bull might offer Perez a compensation package exceeding ten million dollars, but this has been denied by Red Bull’s management; others speculate that he could be assigned a role similar to a global ambassador.
