[Saba Sports News] Recently, the renovation of Manchester United’s first-team building at Carrington Training Ground was completed, and the official opening was held on August 8th. According to British media reports, the renovation included high-altitude training rooms, sleep pods, dry floating tanks, red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, and cold therapy chambers, bringing the facility up to the standard of elite European clubs. One of the key focuses of pre-season preparations this season is changing culture and enhancing team cohesion, with the new building designed to support this. New facilities such as a hair salon and an F1 simulator aim to keep players at the base for longer. The layout of the building was carefully planned, with every meeting room and rehabilitation area placed to optimize player performance. Previously described as a “dark maze,” the space now features light oak walls, more windows, and ceiling lights, making it brighter and more open. Additionally, the newly expanded changing rooms include smart urinals that help players and staff detect dehydration. This is more advanced than the previous approach, where colored charts were posted above each urinal to remind players of their hydration levels.
