Consequently, An Se-young missed out on her 8th title this year, and her 100% win rate in finals this year was broken. However, renowned BWF pundit Clark pointed out that An Se-young has now accumulated 28 titles in the BWF World Tour (Super 300 level and above), surpassing the 27 titles of Danish star Viktor Axelsen, making her the greatest singles player in the World Tour era. Although she still trails the historical singles record if the earlier Super Series and Grand Prix Gold events are counted, this remains a significant milestone.
