[Saba Sports News] Formula 1 star Daniel Ricciardo, born in Perth, has once again become an ambassador for road trips in Western Australia. During this weekend’s Singapore F1 Grand Prix, a tourism campaign called “Drive Your Dreams” will be launched. This campaign will target tourists from Singapore and across Australia over the next four weeks, encouraging them to consider Western Australia as their ultimate self-drive destination. A promotional video for the campaign was released yesterday. The video tells the story of Ricciardo and his best friend Blake embarking on another epic road trip, starting from Perth and traveling through the Margaret River region and surrounding areas, mountain biking in Collie, hiking parts of the Cape to Cape Track, visiting a winery in Margaret River, learning to surf in Gascoyne Bay, and strolling through the Jewel Cave in Yallingup. This short film has been translated into eight different languages and will be launched in major international markets over the next 12 months. It is reported that this is part two of the “Drive Your Dreams” global campaign for 2023. That year, Daniel and Blake drove along the Coral Coast Highway from Perth to Exmouth, encouraging fans to travel to Australia.
