[Saba Sports News] According to German media reports, Borussia Dortmund head coach Nuri Sahin personally participated in the final training session before the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. In an 11-on-11 training match, Sahin played as a defensive midfielder. Although the club’s leadership continues to support him, convincing performances and a victory against Frankfurt have become indisputable issues. Sahin is known for his hands-on approach during team training, often showcasing his running and actively participating in drills. Given the recent tight schedule and physical exertion in matches, Dortmund’s training intensity was intentionally kept low. Surprisingly, there was not the usual tight security during Dortmund’s final training session. The training began with a light warm-up, followed by a training match in which Sahin played in midfield. The team lineup was mixed, not clearly indicating the starting lineup against Frankfurt, and the session concluded with crossing drills. Unfortunately, Dortmund ultimately lost 0-2 away to Frankfurt in this round, marking their third consecutive league defeat, with only one win in the last seven league matches.
