[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Gary Lineker spoke in a podcast interview about Mohamed Salah’s future. Salah is arguably one of the best players in the world right now, and his outstanding performances have helped Liverpool excel in both the Premier League and the Champions League. So far this season, Salah has played 33 matches for Liverpool across all competitions, contributing 25 goals and 17 assists. Currently, Salah’s contract is set to expire this summer, and he has indicated that there has been no progress in renewing his contract with Liverpool. It is reported that a club from the Saudi league is interested in signing Salah and is willing to offer him a substantial salary. When discussing Salah’s future, Lineker said, “He’s a likable guy. I spent 10 minutes with Salah when I went to watch Slot’s interview. At that time, Salah asked me, ‘How old were you when you retired?’ I replied, ‘I left the Premier League at 32 and went to play in Japan for a few years.’ Salah said, ‘You went for the money, didn’t you?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I did.’ He replied, ‘I might do the same.’ Then he winked at the reporters present. It was a joke, but he really does have that sense of humor.”
