Sports News] In a warm-up match for their respective national teams, Chile emerged
victorious with a 3-0 win over Albania. During the first half of the game,
Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani was involved in a tackle. Asllani’s feet
were on the ground in accordance with the rules, but Chilean forward Alexis
Sanchez inadvertently stepped on Asllani’s calf with the spike of his right
foot. Asllani cried out in pain, falling to the ground and requiring several
minutes of medical attention. It is noteworthy that Sanchez and Asllani are
teammates at Inter Milan, but Sanchez’s challenge during the national team game
went unpunished with no red card issued. Sanchez approached Asllani to check on
his well-being, but Asllani expressed his frustration by spreading his arms and
voicing his complaints. However, at the end of the first half, Sanchez took the
initiative to approach Asllani, exchanging jerseys as a gesture of apology. The
two players reconciled with each other.
