[Saba Sports News] In recent years, Saudi Arabia,
a Middle Eastern country, has made substantial investments in the transfer
market to acquire top-tier athletes for its domestic league. This approach has
drawn criticism from various quarters, with accusations that Saudi Arabia is
utilizing sports as a means to bolster its international reputation. Recently,
Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman addressed this matter during a press
conference. He expressed his firm stance, stating, “I disregard the
opinions of the outside world. Sports has contributed to a 1% increase in our
GDP. Our target is to achieve an additional 1.5% growth. You can say whatever
you want, but we will achieve our goal.”
