Sports News] According to reports from British media, Gareth Southgate, the
coach of the England national team, will be ending his seven-year partnership
with his agent, Terry Byrne. It has been reported that Southgate’s contract
with England is set to expire at the end of December this year. The termination
of his contract with his current agent may spark a competition among prominent
agents. Southgate and Terry Byrne have collaborated for seven years; however,
Byrne’s business group is facing significant financial pressure. It was
revealed in November of the previous year that Byrne owed wages to several
clients, including Southgate, former England coach Hoder, and former England
international Joe Cole. There were outstanding commercial and sponsorship fees.
All three individuals are clients of the agency 10Ten Talent, where Byrne holds
a directorial position. In a previous statement, Byrne expressed that his top
priority is reimbursing his clients. It remains unclear whether Southgate has
received his fees.
