[Saba Sports News] Paul Pierce’s joking nature may have caught up to him. On Monday afternoon, Pierce stirred up a flurry of trolling posts on X, inviting fans to send him their addresses for one-on-one fights. Clearly aiming to provoke reactions, Pierce later laughed about successfully getting under people’s skins.
“Who wanna scrap forreal not online send me ur address I’ll pull fa the 1v1,” Pierce posted.
Pierce then seemingly broke character, revealing he was joking by responding with several laughing emojis.
“Yall funny got yall all riled up.”
One person who took Pierce’s posts seriously was famous street fighter Chris Wilmore. In an Instagram post, Wilmore called out Pierce, referred to him as an angry old man (noting they were the same age), and invited him to an official fight with Streetbeefs.
“Ay Paul Pierce, look. I know you’re an older, angry dude. We about the same age. You posted on Twitter I guess it was, that you want someone to pull up and real fight. I’m down to box at Streetbeefs, let’s put it together. You’re a celebrity, I’m always down to box a celebrity. And you’re old like me, why you so angry, brother? Let’s go!”
Chris Wilmore started Streetbeefs to help people resolve their differences through official, controlled fistfights instead of using weapons. His Streetbeefs YouTube channel has over three million subscribers. A potential fight with Pierce could draw significant interest from both Streetbeefs and NBA fans.
