[Saba Sports News] The 2024 F1 season has concluded. Recently, British media highlighted the three most successful and disappointing drivers of the season. Max Verstappen topped the success list, claiming his fourth consecutive drivers’ championship title, proving he remains the strongest in F1. Lando Norris ranked second on the success list, showing remarkable improvement throughout the season. Although he fell short of becoming the season champion, everyone believes he will eventually ascend to the world champion throne. Franco Colapinto took third place on the success list, rapidly becoming the hottest rookie in F1 after replacing Logan Sargeant at Williams in several races; his name has even been linked to Red Bull and Mercedes. On the disappointment list, Sergio Perez ranked first, with only about a third of his teammate Verstappen’s points by the end of the season, leading to speculation about his potential dismissal from Red Bull. Daniel Ricciardo came in second on the disappointment list, with performance indicating he is unable to return to his peak form, leaving his future in F1 in serious doubt. Valtteri Bottas ranked third on the disappointment list, failing to score any points throughout the season, and has faced criticism compared to his teammate Zhou Guanyu, enduring a season filled with disparagement.
