[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, West Ham player Crysencio Summerville has received a severe punishment for driving his £100,000 Mercedes supercar while banned from driving. Reports say Summerville was caught driving the luxury car near West Ham’s training ground in Essex, and has been handed an additional six-month driving ban.
Summerville admitted driving a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 while disqualified and uninsured. It is not yet known whether Summerville’s vehicle has been seized by police. Records obtained by the media show that Summerville pleaded guilty to the offense of driving while disqualified in Romford in January 2025. He has also been fined £10,000 by magistrates and could face up to six months in prison.
The editor believes that as an active Premier League player, Summerville’s traffic violation has sparked discussions about the off-field discipline of professional players, and the strict standards of UK traffic law enforcement have once again drawn attention. At present, West Ham United has not issued an official statement on the matter, and Summerville’s subsequent participation and travel arrangements remain to be confirmed.
