[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Sunderland will unveil a new club emblem on their away kit for the new season, while the home kit will continue to use the old emblem. After eight years away from the top flight, the Black Cats returned to the Premier League via the promotion play-offs. With the release of the away kit, the club revealed a fresh visual transformation. Sunderland is making a grand return with a new image, and the club recently unveiled its away shirt, which will see the team wearing a blue jersey in tribute to the club’s maritime heritage. A phrase “City by the Sea” is embroidered on the back of the collar, while the inner lining subtly pays homage to the Lake Poets. However, what has most stunned fans is the completely new club emblem, which has received widespread praise on social media. Historically, Sunderland has often made adjustments to the emblem on their away kits. But this time, the color change makes it stand out from previous designs. However, this is not the official club emblem for the season. According to photos circulating on social media, the home kit will still feature the traditional red and white stripes and the original emblem.
