[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, after Everton drew 2-2 with Manchester United, James Tarkowski and Manuel Ugarte had a confrontation. In this match, Everton captain Tarkowski and Manchester United midfielder Ugarat were in conflict throughout the game. At halftime, Tarkowski and Ugarat got into a verbal altercation. When they walked out of the tunnel in the second half, Tarkowski continued to rant at Ugarat. Later, Bruno Fernandes and referee Andy Madley also intervened in the conversation. After Ugarat scored to level the score, he immediately responded to Tarkowski, who confronted him at the end of the game. Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Casemiro, Alejandro Garnacho, and Leny Yoro immediately stepped in to support Ugarat. Everton’s former Manchester United player James Garner came to Tarkowski’s aid. Both teams’ coaching staffs intervened to defuse the situation. After the match, Tarkowski insisted on waiting for Ugarat in the tunnel until the latter signaled to return to the dressing room. Sources indicate: “Tarkowski was ‘trash talking’ Ugarat all game long, and after leveling the score, Ugarat clearly wouldn’t let go of such an opportunity to retaliate.”
