[Saba Sports News] Following the disappointing performance of the F1 Alpine team in the Monaco Grand Prix, where they only scored one point, team principal Bruno Famin discussed Mick Schumacher in an interview with the media. Famin hinted at the possibility of the German driver making a full-time return to Formula One. Alpine appears to be seriously considering Schumacher’s participation in the 2025 competition. Famin stated, “Of course, we have the option to choose him. However, there are numerous possibilities. Mick has shown great performance in endurance championships. His mindset is very strong, and everyone knows he is fast. Moreover, he is adept at managing his car’s performance.” Currently, Schumacher serves as a reserve driver for Mercedes and McLaren, while also competing for Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He has consistently delivered stable performances, and if he continues to excel, there is a chance for Schumacher to return to F1 next year. This is because the contracts for both of Alpine’s current drivers expire at the end of this year, and the team has yet to discuss contract renewals, increasing the likelihood of Schumacher’s return.
