[Saba Sports News] The New Carbonsonic Max is a synthetic shuttlecock launched by VICTOR and released to market in early 2026. Its skirt uses toughened aerodynamic feather-like vanes, and the head incorporates a resin-groove structure designed to replicate the feel of a natural-feather shuttlecock, making it suitable for higher-intensity competition. Recently the product has been certified by associations including the Badminton Asia Confederation, the Japan Badminton Association, Badminton Denmark, and the French Badminton Federation, and it has been used in international professional events as well as the Chinese Badminton Association’s U-series competitions. In the recent round of shuttlecock price reductions, synthetic shuttlecocks played an important role: more players chose synthetic shuttles, which to some extent eased the supply-and-demand pressure on natural-feather shuttlecocks. Last week at VICTOR’s brand conference in Nanjing, the New Carbonsonic shuttlecock received further upgrades. VICTOR’s smart-shuttlecock system, developed over several years, will be launched on the market this year; by embedding a smart chip, rackets and shuttlecocks will evolve into intelligent sports equipment.
The editor believes the New Carbonsonic series not only approaches—and in some respects surpasses—natural-feather shuttles technically, but has also gained wide recognition for international event approval, youth promotion, and sustainability. It represents an important direction for the future development of badminton shuttlecocks.
