[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Tottenham has recently reconciled with its former manager David Pleat, who had criticized Daniel Levy multiple times. Pleat led Tottenham to the FA Cup final in 1987 and has served as a scout for the club in recent years but was dismissed by Levy earlier this year. At that time, Levy stated that “finding players is now data-driven; we no longer need that old-fashioned scouting,” which Pleat deemed absurd. Pleat recently published an autobiography titled “Score One More,” but Tottenham disagreed to sell the book in their official store, which further dissatisfied Pleat, who has criticized Levy multiple times in interviews. Reports indicate that after communication, Tottenham has reconciled with Pleat and will hold events to help him promote his autobiography; however, the book will still not be sold in Tottenham’s official store because it was not officially written by the club. A similar situation occurred with Hugo Lloris’s autobiography for the same reason.
