[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, on Monday local time, Francesco Totti arrived in Moscow, Russia, to participate in a football promotional event. Despite international sanctions against Russia, Totti still accepted the invitation to attend the local International RB Awards ceremony. Russia had previously conducted related promotions, and Totti faced criticism for it, even being awarded the Golden Porcello. However, Totti ignored the criticism and controversy and continued with his original plan to fly to Moscow this week for a three-day event. Totti will first have a private meeting with members of the local Roma fan club in Russia, followed by attending an awards ceremony at a luxury hotel in Moscow, which will be broadcast live on television. Regarding this, the organizer of the awards ceremony said: “The contract details are not public, but this is a six-figure Euro appearance fee. Totti is the most expensive guest in the history of the award. But he is also the most suitable guest. Because his nickname is the Roman Emperor, and Moscow is the Third Rome.”
