[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Barcelona continues to push towards the goal of returning to the new Camp Nou this season, but several companies involved in the renovation believe this will be very challenging due to tight timelines and the need to ensure that local residents are not disrupted. On Monday, Barcelona club, city council, and neighborhood associations will hold a private meeting about the project, focusing on safety-related aspects and one of the residents’ main concerns: the mobility of the surrounding community once the team returns to the new Camp Nou. Given that Camp Nou is located in the city center, once the renovation is completed and the team returns to play there, mobility will become one of the most important issues—not for spectators but for vehicles, as they will disrupt the lives of nearby residents. The influx of cars on match days has overwhelmed the city entrances, cutting off access to the entire Les Cortes area, and these situations cannot continue. These suggestions have been on the table for a long time, and Barcelona club and the city council must continue to analyze these issues to find solutions that benefit all parties involved.
