[Saba Sports News] Tyrese Haliburton may have been on the sidelines for most of Team USA’s gold medal run at the Olympics, but he’s not feeling guilty about it.
The Indiana Pacers guard posted a hilarious take on social media after receiving his gold medal, comparing himself to the kid in school who does nothing in a group project but still gets an A. Haliburton played just 26 minutes during the entire tournament and didn’t see any action in the gold medal game. However, he still managed to score three field goals in Olympic competition and was part of the gold-winning squad.
Even though he became the subject of memes earlier in the tournament, Haliburton is clearly embracing the joke and having fun with it.
