[Saba Sports News] According to British media, Leicester City’s new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy wants to use his connections at Manchester United to loan young midfielder Toby Collyer during the January transfer window. Van Nistelrooy led Leicester City to a 3-1 victory over West Ham in his debut and is currently assessing the areas that need strengthening in the squad. Reports indicate that van Nistelrooy is prepared to leverage his ties at Manchester United to secure the loan of 20-year-old midfielder Toby Collyer in January. Van Nistelrooy believes Collyer could be a key player for Leicester City in their fight for survival, having previously worked closely with Collyer while serving as Erik ten Hag’s assistant. It is understood that Manchester United is not looking to sell Collyer, but they may agree to a loan for development, especially under van Nistelrooy. Collyer has demonstrated exceptional speed in training and has already made his Premier League debut this season; he could become a new midfield option for Leicester City.
