[Saba Sports News] Following the F1 British Grand Prix, Max Verstappen and Toto Wolff’s yachts were spotted docked side by side in Sardinia, Italy, sparking speculation about a potential secret meeting to discuss a 2026 transfer. However, Verstappen denied these rumors during the Belgian Grand Prix media day. In recent weeks, rumors have swirled that Verstappen could move to Mercedes when new F1 regulations take effect next year. Reports suggest his Red Bull contract includes exit clauses, some of which could be activated this summer. Verstappen, however, dismissed the speculation, stating that he was simply vacationing with family and friends, and Wolff’s presence was purely coincidental. In Belgium, the rumors have cooled slightly after Wolff confirmed Mercedes’ commitment to retaining Andrea Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. Meanwhile, despite Christian Horner’s departure from Red Bull, Verstappen has remained silent on the matter, insisting that “nothing has changed,” further fueling speculation about his future.
