[Saba Sports News] Max Verstappen’s future has become the hottest topic at this year’s British Grand Prix. Journalists crowded into Red Bull’s Motohome to ask him if he had indeed transferred to Mercedes. Unfortunately, Verstappen refused to comment, stating that he had already answered this question last week and had nothing more to add — no decisions had been made yet. However, Verstappen was certain that he would not leave F1 before 2028 and ruled out the possibility of taking a break from F1 in 2026, the first year of the new regulations. Verstappen acknowledged that 2026 presents many uncertainties, and no one can predict who will truly have an advantage. The only thing to do now is to drive the car as fast as possible. In our view, based on Verstappen’s usual attitude, if there was no plan to move to Mercedes, he would have already denied it. His ambiguous response and refusal to talk to so many journalists suggest that his decision to move is very clear.
