[Saba Sports News] The press conference area at the Miami F1 Grand Prix was filled with tension as Red Bull driver Max Verstappen snapped back angrily at a British reporter who asked if his driving style remained unchanged. “Why? Is there something wrong with the way I drive now?” Clearly, the four-time F1 World Champion was frustrated with both his fourth-place finish and the media’s questioning. At the start of the race, Verstappen engaged in a fierce battle with McLaren’s Lando Norris at Turn 1. His aggressive defense forced Norris off the track, though stewards decided no penalty was necessary. Norris, however, called it classic Verstappen-style dangerous driving after the race. This incident saw Norris drop to sixth temporarily but failed to stop McLaren’s duo from a stunning comeback—Oscar Piastri and Norris overtook Verstappen one after another to secure the top two spots. Worse still, Verstappen was even passed by Mercedes’ George Russell under a virtual safety car strategy, finishing over 40 seconds behind the winner. In our opinion, this heated interview exposed cracks in Red Bull’s dominance: when Verstappen’s trademark aggressive driving style was no longer invincible and when Red Bull’s car performance fell behind rivals, this usually domineering world champion finally felt the bitter taste of being overwhelmed.
