[Saba Sports News] A public feud between Max Verstappen’s father, Jos Verstappen, and Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has overshadowed Max Verstappen’s pole position victory in Saturday’s Austrian Grand Prix sprint. Originally, 52-year-old Jos Verstappen planned to participate in the F1 car parade held at the Red Bull Ring, but he has now decided against it. In an interview, Jos Verstappen revealed that Horner made every effort to prevent his participation. For instance, the original plan included using drones to film the parade, but Horner didn’t want him to be filmed, so the live drone broadcast was canceled. Jos Verstappen described his relationship with Horner as completely broken, comparing it to a kindergarten and criticizing Horner’s behavior as childish. In response, Horner immediately launched a crisis public relations campaign, stating that the track organized the legendary parade and he had no authority to veto it. He emphasized that his relationship with Jos Verstappen has always been good and strong, and there has never been a conflict between them.
