[Saba Sports News] Aston Villa have had a
promising start in the Premier League, securing four wins and suffering two
losses in the first six rounds. However, Villa players have voiced their
dissatisfaction with the sweat-wicking performance of this season’s jerseys,
frequently expressing their concerns to the media. During matches, the players’
jerseys tend to become soaked, clinging to their bodies and causing discomfort.
The issue is particularly noticeable with the purple-red home jersey, which
progressively turns black as the game progresses. Coach Unai Emery is aware of
this problem and has initiated discussions with Castore, the jersey
manufacturer. Castore is a British sportswear brand founded by brothers Phil
and Tom Beahon in 2015, with their brand concept emphasising the notion of
“never stop.”
