[Saba Sports News] LeBron James was caught in ultra-clear 4K executing one of his signature antics this week.
A viral clip from the Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 2 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday captured a hilariously blatant moment from James. In the fourth quarter, he stepped into the path of Timberwolves big man Julius Randle as Randle attempted a shot.
Although the shot went in, Randle’s follow-through caught James near the head, sending the Lakers star crashing to the floor in dramatic fashion while clutching his face.
One alternate camera angle made the moment even more comical—James was seen briefly peeking through his fingers to check if the officials were buying the act, then quickly resumed his exaggerated display until his teammates helped him up.
James did succeed in drawing an offensive foul on Randle, which nullified the basket despite a Timberwolves challenge. But his sneak peek clearly showed a man gauging just how much longer he needed to commit to the performance.
While James is a 21-time All-Star and an all-time NBA legend, his repeated flopping continues to draw criticism from fans. This latest moment might top even his past playoff theatrics in terms of shamelessness.
