Shortly after, he successfully proposed to his girlfriend, Chen Shih-yuan, with a diamond ring worth hundreds of thousands and weighing 0.5 carats. Yesterday, Wang Chi-Lin updated his social media with a photo of him holding Chen Shih-yuan’s hand with the shining diamond ring, joking that he was the same height as his partner when he knelt down. The loving image garnered many likes and comments from fans. According to information, Chen Shih-yuan is a member of the exclusive cheer leading team of the Rakuten Monkeys, and she is the same age as 29-year-old Wang Chi-Lin, with the two having been together for just a year and a half. However, they have a significant height difference, with Wang Chi-Lin standing at 188 cm and Chen Shih-yuan at 152 cm. The proposal took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, where Wang Chi-Lin invited many friends from the badminton community to support him, including Lee Yang, Yang Po-Han, and Lin Chia Yu.
