[Saba Sports News] In the 2023 Formula One World Championship, Williams F1 Team finished the season with 28 points, ranking seventh in the team standings. Alex Albon scored 27 points while Logan Sargeant contributed 1 point. According to Williams Grand Prix Engineering’s accounts, the team reported a loss of £84.2 million for the fiscal year 2023, up from £17.9 million in 2022; revenue fell from £142.8 million to £127 million. In response, Williams stated in a statement that while losses increased compared to 2022, this was expected and aligned with the company’s strategy of continuing to invest across all business areas. Williams explained that the lower revenue in 2023 was due to the team’s poor ranking in the 2022 Formula One World Championship, which led to reduced commercial income. The strong improvement in track performance in 2023 is attributed to ongoing investments in infrastructure, transformation, and talent since 2020. The team’s long-term goal remains unchanged: to develop world-leading technology through continuous investment and strive to be among the top five teams in the Formula One World Championship.
