[Saba Sports News] Veteran NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski has made a surprising career announcement.
In a statement on Wednesday, Wojnarowski revealed he is retiring from ESPN and the news industry. The 55-year-old said the demands to stay at the top of his field no longer drive him.
However, Woj isn’t stepping away from basketball entirely. He’s taken a new role as the general manager of the men’s basketball program at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure University, where he’ll assist with NIL allocation, recruiting, and supporting head coach Mark Schmidt.
After over three decades of groundbreaking journalism, the era of “Woj Bombs” has officially ended.
