[Saba Sports News] Zion Williamson is once again making off-court headlines, this time due to a disturbing legal situation involving a woman linked to his personal life.
According to Fletcher Mackel of WDSU in New Orleans, a woman named Ahkeema Love was arrested this week after an alleged altercation at Williamson’s residence. Authorities say Love entered the home and physically attacked another woman who has been romantically connected to the Pelicans star. Reports state that Love grabbed the woman by the hair and struck her with a set of keys before fleeing the scene.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, reportedly suffered facial injuries and torn fingernails. Police also say Love had previously egged the victim’s home and sent threatening messages via social media.
Love was later arrested at a separate location. She appeared in court on Tuesday and was charged with home invasion, aggravated battery, and stalking. Her bond was set at $50,000, and she has been ordered to stay away from the victim and surrender a pistol in her possession.
This isn’t Love’s first public entanglement involving Williamson. She shares a child with the 24-year-old NBA star and was previously part of a dramatic episode in 2023 when news of her pregnancy sparked a social media outburst from adult film actress Moriah Mills—another woman who had been romantically linked to Williamson.
Mills threatened to release explicit content involving her and Williamson, resulting in her social media accounts being suspended.
On the court, Williamson played in just 30 games for the Pelicans this season but posted strong numbers, averaging 24.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. While he has recently made efforts to improve his physical condition, his personal life continues to pose challenges away from basketball.
