McCullum highlighted the crucial role of captain Ben Stokes in fostering the spinners’ growth, noting his significant time investment and effective utilization of the young talents during the match. Despite the promising spin display, England faced a 106-run loss in the second Test, leaving the series tied at 1-1. Following the match, the England team departed for Abu Dhabi to continue their preparations before heading to Rajkot for the third Test.
