[Saba Sports News] Recently, 11 Olympic and world champions — including Zheng Siwei, Huang Yaqiong, Li Junhui, Liu Yuchen, Hendra Setiawan, and Chae Yu Jung — gathered in Nanjing to attend a brand event for well-known badminton equipment company VICTOR. During the celebrity exhibition match segment, Zheng Siwei teamed up with Chae Yu Jung to face the married pairing of Liu Yuchen and Huang Yaqiong. The refreshingly entertaining showdown thrilled fans. Zheng had previously said that, aside from Huang Yaqiong, the person he most wanted to partner with was Chae Yu Jung, and taking advantage of the VICTOR event he finally realized that wish.
Now the 2023 World Championships mixed doubles champion Chae Yu Jung also has another role: she is an employee of Zheng Siwei. This year she became a coach at the VICTOR Zheng Siwei International Badminton Base. At the event, Chae demonstrated her progress in learning Chinese by saying “Thank you, boss.” Attending the VICTOR brand event for the first time, Chae said she was very interested in the “Badminton Life” apparel line and that it has become an indispensable part of her daily wardrobe.
