[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Saif Rubie, the agent of Kurt Zouma, has withdrawn a lawsuit against Chelsea for up to £3 million regarding Zouma’s transfer from Chelsea to West Ham United in 2021. However, he will still pursue claims against former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia for breach of contract in this transaction. Earlier this year, Rubie sent a threatening email to Granovskaia in court, after which he filed a lawsuit against Chelsea and Granovskaia. Chelsea believes the lawsuit should be withdrawn and that the matter should be resolved through arbitration by the FA. According to FIFA regulations, agents can receive up to 10% of the transfer fee from the selling club in player transfer transactions. Zouma, now 29 years old, transferred from Chelsea to West Ham in August 2021. So far, the French defender has made 103 appearances for West Ham, scoring 6 goals and providing 1 assist, and he won the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy with the team in the 2022-23 season. Chelsea received a total of £29.1 million for selling Zouma to West Ham.
