Sports News] As per reports from Spanish media, Barcelona, the renowned La Liga
club, is planning to introduce a new jersey design to commemorate the team’s
125th anniversary. This special edition jersey will have a retro style and
feature substantial details. Spanish media have already leaked spy photos of
the jersey, revealing its appearance. The design closely resembles the
centenary jersey from 1999, featuring the traditional red and blue colors.
However, there are a few differences compared to 25 years ago. The jersey will
have a round collar in blue/purple and red, with the word “125”
printed on it. Additionally, the Barcelona team emblem will be placed at the
center of the chest. Regarding jersey advertising, the sponsor Spotify’s logo
will be presented in a gold pattern, replacing the previous white version.
Barcelona, founded on November 29, 1899, has a rich history, having won a total
of 27 La Liga championships. In the recent 2022/2023 season, Barcelona clinched
the La Liga title three rounds before the conclusion. The upcoming
125th-anniversary celebration will bring new highlights for Barcelona,
including a fresh team logo and a new team song.
