Sports News] Following the recently concluded Premier League match, Chelsea, as
the away team, suffered a 1-2 defeat against Wolves, marking their third loss
in the last four games. Notably, this defeat also led to the club setting a
record of shame. Statistics reveal that Chelsea have now lost 19 Premier League
games in the year 2023, the highest number of losses in the league. It is worth
mentioning that Chelsea spent a staggering £1 billion on player signings this
year, setting two new Premier League transfer fee records. In comparison, the
entire La Liga spent only €893 million during the same period. The editor
believes that Chelsea’s struggles stem from a lack of conventional center
forward, despite having an abundance of wingers. Unless this issue is
addressed, the editor remains skeptical about Chelsea’s prospects and hopes for
adjustments to their signing strategy in the upcoming winter transfer window.
