Sports News] According to British media reports, a 23-year-old man has been
arrested for throwing a glass bottle at the Manchester United bus. The incident
occurred on December 17 during Manchester United’s away match against
Liverpool. While on their way to Anfield, the Manchester United bus was struck
by a glass bottle thrown by the man, causing a small crack in one of the side
windows. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The Merseyside Police
have arrested the 23-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage. A police
spokesman stated that the man, who is from the Everton area, has been released
and is currently under investigation. It is worth noting that prior to this
incident, both Manchester City and Real Madrid buses were also targeted outside
Anfield. It appears that there is a need for the police to take strong action
against those responsible for such incidents.
