[Saba Sports News] Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković might be gearing up for another outburst after reviewing the Last Two Minute report from the team’s narrow 132-131 defeat against the Los Angeles Lakers. Following the game, Rajaković gained attention on social media for his criticism of the officiating, suggesting a bias towards the Lakers.
Contrary to Rajaković’s grievances, the L2M report, which analyzes potential missed calls in the last two minutes of the game, indicated that the Raptors should have been penalized with two additional fouls. The report identified a missed offensive foul on Raptors forward Scottie Barnes, the focus of Rajaković’s earlier rant, for charging into Austin Reaves at the 1:33 mark. Additionally, it noted an incorrect foul call against Lakers’ Anthony Davis, stating that Barrett was the one initiating contact.
The discrepancy in free throws was notable, with the Lakers taking 36 compared to the Raptors’ 13. Furthermore, the Raptors accumulated a total of 26 fouls against the Lakers’ 16, though some were strategic fouls to halt the clock in the game’s final moments.
