[Saba Sports News] During last year’s Spanish
Grand Prix and Qatar Grand Prix, there were noticeable incidents involving
Mercedes-Benz drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, leading to speculation
about a feud between them. However, Russell recently addressed this matter in
an interview with the media, denying any discord between them. He acknowledged
that they have a competitive relationship but emphasized that trust exists
between them. Russell stated, “In a season with over 20 races and an
average of 60 laps per race, there will inevitably be moments where we are
chasing each other. However, we trust each other and give enough space. The
incident in Qatar was simply a small misjudgment.” Reflecting on the
previous season, Russell mentioned the challenges they faced, with him
finishing eighth in the driver’s standings and Hamilton in third place.
