[Saba Sports News] Recently, the legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has made a significant investment in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), a premier tennis ball T10 cricket tournament set to be played in a stadium. This investment by the 50-year-old cricket icon is expected to significantly contribute to the growth and development of the tournament.
As a member of the league’s core committee, Tendulkar’s role will be vital in advising and shaping the league’s format. Expressing his enthusiasm about this new venture, Tendulkar highlighted the league as a celebration of cricket, drawing parallels to his own journey. He reminisced about his early days playing with tennis balls before moving to the professional sphere, emphasizing that the ISPL will offer a similar opportunity to budding cricket enthusiasts.
Tendulkar, as quoted by News18, stated, “The ISPL is envisioned to be a celebration of cricket. My involvement in ISPL is reflective of my journey, which takes me back to my roots.
