Sports News] According to reports from German media, the local prosecutor’s
office in Dortmund has recently filed charges against Nico Schulz, as he is
suspected of repeatedly committing severe home violence against his partner. The incidents allegedly occurred on
January 14th, March 21st, and August 30th, 2020, at Schulz’s residence in
Berlin. Local media has disclosed that Schulz had repeatedly insulted his
former girlfriend, calling her a prostitute, and even made statements
suggesting that she and their daughter should die.
Schulz
terminated his contract with Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer and is
currently a free agent. Since joining Borussia Dortmund, Schulz’s performances
have not lived up to the club’s expectations. Furthermore, he has previously
been reported for serious domestic violence issues. Now, the local prosecutor’s
office in Dortmund has officially filed charges against Schulz regarding these
domestic violence allegations.
It
must be said that Schulz has brought this situation upon himself, and it will
likely be challenging for him to find a team willing to sign him given the
circumstances.
