[Saba Sports News] Recently, Manchester
United’s young talent, Amad Diallo, made headlines by deleting all Manchester
United-related content from his social media accounts. This action sparked
speculation and curiosity among fans and the media. Last season, the
21-year-old Diallo was loaned out to Sunderland by Manchester United, where he
had an impressive performance. He scored 14 goals and provided 4 assists in 43
games, earning recognition as the Best Young Player in the British Championship
and winning the PFA Championship Player of the Month award. However, this season,
Diallo has only made three substitute appearances for Manchester United,
playing a total of 63 minutes. With Antony Martial’s reduced playing time,
manager Erik ten Hag has often opted to deploy Alejandro Garnacho on the right
wing instead. Subsequently, Diallo provided an update on his social media,
explaining the reason behind his decision to temporarily shut down his
accounts. He stated that he was taking a break from social media for a month to
focus on observing Ramadan—a period of fasting and spiritual reflection for
Muslims.
