Munich, and Real Madrid. This season, the 42-year-old Alonso has led Bayer

across all competitions. The team currently sits at the top of the Bundesliga
standings with a 10-point lead. In addition, Leverkusen has advanced to the
semi-finals of the German Cup and is set to face West Ham in the quarter-finals
of the Europa League. With such an outstanding track record, it comes as no
