Sports News] According to British media reports, the top terrace of Anfield
Stadium will be officially opened to spectators during the game against
Manchester United. However, the opening of the grandstand has been delayed by
four months compared to the original expectations. Currently, the construction
site is still visible, and staff members are working tirelessly to complete the
necessary renovations. Liverpool initially had plans to open this section of
the stand for their first home game of the season against Bournemouth. However,
due to various circumstances, the opening had to be postponed. Once all the
renovation work is finished, Anfield’s capacity is expected to increase to
61,000 spectators. Approximately 57,000 seats are expected to be opened for
Liverpool’s game against Manchester United. If everything goes according to
plan, the stands will be opened in stages to accommodate the spectators. The
arrival of Manchester United for the game at Anfield is anticipated to attract
a full house, with more fans cheering on the team. This news undoubtedly brings
excitement and anticipation for Liverpool and their fans. The long wait for the
opening of the top stand will be worth it for the supporters.
